Before I begin, I would strongly recommend viewing Baz's Got A Ukulele (GAU) review on the Eastman EU3T Tenor and Ukes With Alex (UWA) - I got a new Ukulele - Eastman EU3T Tenor. Both reviews will tell you all you need to know about this ukulele. They are interesting videos for comparison because the GAU review is with the stock nylgut strings in high G, while the UWA review is with fluorocarbon strings and low G.
The wood on this ukulele is fantastic, you can see the curl/tiger strip on the unpolished surface when viewed through the sound hole. I can't understand how the ukulele is so reasonably priced, especially since it comes with a hard case. It's not the loudest ukulele in the world but it has an exceptionally pretty tone. Don't rush to change the strings, but for me, it sounds and feels better with fluorocarbon strings with a Fremont, squeak less, wound low G. A lovely ukulele that I doubt I'll be selling on.
