I've installed this kit in a Colt SS Competition Series and Kimber Rapide. There is a well perceived smoothness, not only in shooting but even in racking the slide. Many folks complain about the supposed extra effort to take them down for cleaning but I dont find them an inconvenience at all. I will be ordering more of these.
