I used the module with the WIZnet W5500-EVB-Pico-POE to make an Ethernet port tester. The tester connects to a POE port and makes an NTP request. When it receives a response, it toggles in onboard LED. The tester made the testing of 60 Ethernet jacks in 30 rooms fast and easy.
