My large cat has poor peeing skills! He tends to start in a squat and slowly stands up making a mess of urine all over. He is overweight and squats are hard so I give him some grace. The high sides of the litter box keeps the mess inside the box and the soy litter clumps super hard and keeps the smell in check. Recommend!
