My daughter was late to speech and reading and sounding things out is harder for her than pretty much anything else. We had tried many well-known and established reading programs both offline and online and none of them helped make any real progress. The first time we used Ello, I saw a difference. We've been using Ello for 6 months and in that time my daughter has gone from being terrified of reading (from fear of making mistakes) to being confident to being excited to read every day. The Ello book selection is amazing. The books have been a great match for the level we need and they are fun books. Ello the Elephant was a game changer in helping my daughter feel less self-conscious about reading out loud and has been a huge confidence booster. I've learned better ways to be a reading coach as a parent as well. I cannot say enough good about the Company Ello either. Every single person I have worked with at Ello has been helpful, knowledgeable and caring. You get to work with real people and it is obvious they care about kids and creating a quality product. I would give Ello 100 stars out of 5 if it was a choice!
