Very impressed with both of these products. I've Never used CSL before and it has to be the easiest coating and most satisfying coating I've come across, I'd definitely recommend it for first time coating users. You lay it down nice and thick, wait about 30 seconds to a minute and it comes off with zero fuss leaving behind an instantly slick, very glossy and completely smear-free finish, it's honestly easier than applying wax.
Exo V5 is a little more work to apply but still incredibly easy and satisfying, last time I used EXO was way back on V2 when I used it as a top coat for the original version of CQUK and I remember it being initially leaving behind great finish and ridiculous beading but quite fragile once winter hit. Exo V5 has a noticeably longer work time than CSL meaning you can apply it to quite large areas without risk of it drying out and becoming hard to remove. Removal is definitely a 2 cloth process with the first being used to leavel it out and the second to remove remaining high spots, but it's still very easy and unfussy to apply.
To do a Kia EV6 not including the wheels and sunroof I used about 2/3 of a 50ml bottle of CSL and about 3/4 of a 50ml bottle of EXO, I passed on the supplied Gtechniq applicators and used the double-sided Gyeon ones which I much prefer. EXO comes out of the bottle very quickly so you'll likely end up using more than you need, but with both products being so easy and forgiving to use it didn't seem to matter that I was being quite liberal with how much I was applying.
The finish left behind on my Yacht Blue paintwork is nothing short of stunning, very glossy in all weathers and the metallic really pops in the sun, these coatings also don't alter the colour of your car nearly as much as some. The beading from EXOV5 is also outstanding, I drove in a torrential downpour a few days after applying and the way the water flew up the bonnet and over the door mirrors was almost hypnotic, can't wait to hit with the pressure washer. The only question mark is longevity but with EXOV5 still being very new that's something that'll have to wait, given that my car lives outdoors and I do over 20k miles a year mostly on motorways and in all kinds of weather I'll definitely be putting both products through their paces.
