I have very oily hair, and it gets that way very quickly. I am a girl who lives for dry shampoo. When I first heard about the rootist having dry shampoo, I assumed it was like an aerosol kind. It is not. It comes in this cute tube that pulls apart in the middle. Once you open it it has a brush where the powder comes through like some foundations I have tried. There is a a plastic protector around the brush that you can move up and down so that the bristles don't get damaged when you put the lid back on. When I first used it, I gave it a bit of a shake and fanned the brush over my hand a couple times so the powder could fall through the brush. It doesn't take as much as I thought it would. Just a swipe or two for the powder to come out and It does it's job really well. It made my hair look refreshed and not greasy anymore. What I didn't like about it, is that I really had to blend it in. I have very dark hair and it leaves white patches if you don't work it in.
