As nigori go this is relatively clear. It isn't especially dry nor is it particularly sweet but it is does have a pleasant tartness. Nigori is my favorite style of sake, but this has a smell reminiscent of a much higher proof spirit that masks any sweeter pear-like notes, and it is "warming" all the way down like a spirit too. I thought perhaps it was fortified or something but it is labelled as a junmai so I don't know. It may be to someone's liking but this one was definitely a miss for me.
