“We are so glad to have found Tippsy Sake. They carry one of our favoite brands of sake (Mutsu Hassen) that we enjoied when we lived in Misawa, Japan. Great website, easy ordering. Some inconvience in reciving the order due to regulations but well worth it.”

“I have really enjoyed my Tippsy experience. The website is bright and easy to navigate. And the sommeliers know what their doing, suggesting food pairings and details about the breweries and the processes of making a three-ingredient masterpiece. “love them but will researve the 5 star rating until next club order because they have changed the way the orders are put together, you no longer have a choice of varity or singular type/kind, all orders will come mixed with different type of sake.”

“I've been using their club subscription for over a year. They offered good details on the different sake styles and individual bottles and had a nice system for viewing and rating all the ones you'd tried. It was a great way to try new sake for a reasonable price. Except they unceremoniously killed their subscription, changed their whole website around, and removed access to the ratings and history of sake you'd tried. Can't blame them for changing their business model if the subscription thing wasn't working, but killing it without so much as an email and removing access to my personal data on what I've had and what I had rated it is really not cool. I would look elsewhere, even if they bring their subscription service back.”

Thanks for your feedback. This is Genki, founder at Tippsy. I am so sorry that our system has suddenly changed. All these years we have been going through a lot of system issues with our old website and we've switched back to a simpler version at the moment. Our Tippsy Sake Club will continue for those who would like to receive curated selections, but we won't take any new signups. The virtual cabinet where you kept your favorites with reviews is going under construction. We will build it again and keep all of your data there. Please stay tuned for our updates. “I'm a recent , on my 3rd order, customer. I am honestly happy with the layout and categories on the site. It's easy to search for type, flavour or region of sake. I love how you can even search by temperature, as we know how different an experience and flavour enjoyment varying sake are based on whether they're fridge cold or warmed up. Customer service which I needed once was fast and effective, and order processing and shipping is all done within only few days. I'm very happy for this to be my only sake source and educational tool.”
