“For my husbands Christmas gift, I started the Sake Club so he could try new things and dig into the world of Sake. It arrived within about a week & everything was packaged so carefully. The first box came with a booklet that explains a lot about how sake is made, so excellent info for him. All in all, this was a great gift, and we'll continue to order sake from Tippsy.”

“Great place to get quality Sake at a decent price. Shipping should be always with UPS as FedEx is trash and always screws up the order in my area (Not Tippsys Fault but worth mentioning). Make sure your order is not being sent FedEx if you can avoid it. Giving 5 stars because the store and service is awesome, just wanted to mention the carrier issue so it gets corrected in the future.”

“Be forewarned of poor customer service. They don’t have a phone line to call, but they do provide a # to send a text message if you so desire - the automated response redirects you to an email address, also automated. I was promised and paid for 5-day ground shipping. I received an email saying that items were packed and awaiting shipment. 5 days later, the Tracking site says “label created, awaiting pickup”, same since Day 1. They have now effectively missed being able to ensure arrival by Dec 20, or 10 biz days elapsed, my event missed. I have tried to cancel but am getting the runaround between dead messaging and deaf emails. I wish you better logistics. Plan ahead and verify!”

“At first, I had only ever had sake warm. However, having the opportunity to receive and try higher quality sake has given the the chance to find and enjoy some rather refreshing varieties. I think for anyone who has enjoyed one type of sake, the Tippsy club is a great way to be introduced to the others. And anyone who is new to this type of alcohol, it's a nice introduction. One update however is that the website seems to have constant issues. I'm not sure why, but I've encountered several problems, including trying to ship my subscription early.”

“After living in Japan for 9 years, finding Tippsy has been an absolute dream. The access to a such wide variety of unique new and beloved sake is really impressive. Shipping is smooth and extremely well packed, customer service are super responsive and helpful. Love all the extra information available on the website about breweries and sake in general. Definitely recommend shopping with Tippsy!”

“The way the website is set up so you can try some interesting sake is very good. This incoudes the questionaire. The doeivery took a while but was fine and the sake was very good so far.”
