Listen, you're not going to win a competition with these. But that's not what they're for. If you want to paint a butt ton of minis in a short amount of time, this does a pretty darn good job. I'm not an expert painter, I get the basics of painting, but I don't have the time or patience to paint all my board game minis. This lets me knockout a couple of minis in an hour or so. If you're already a skilled painter, you could probably knock them out even faster. The colors aren't perfect, and you're probably not blending these (but maybe you could?) but it'll make table ready minis. There is a bit of reactivation if you try to paint over the speedpaints. Mostly something to be aware of, and you can use it to your advantage in some situations. For these pictures I primed in gray, highlighted in white, then applied the speed paints. Metals I went over with a metallic paint then added a wash, just to the metal bits. In a few instances (especially the water) I went back and applied a bit of highlighting after speedpainting.
