This mill is powerful, fast and no louder than my vacuum cleaner. I purchased a this “open box”. There wasn’t any signs of use. I must have gotten the whisper quiet which I’m very glad for. It’s in my kitchen in a proud dedicated spot. No flour dust in the air whatsoever.
