This is the best purchase I've ever made. I'm giddy just thinking about it! I was considering several makes for my kitchen assistent and read reviews and comparisons and Ankarsrum came out the highest scorer on all of them. The first thing I made was Danish rye bread because I've struggled to make that with my hands before. It's an incredibly sticky dough! The loaf turned out amazing! I've since made a recipe for four loads of bread which in total took me 15 min (measuring and adding ingredients, turning Ankarsrum on, shaping the dough into four loaves and putting them in the oven). I've also made saffron buns and breakfast bread. It's helped me make the best dough I've ever made! I do feel like I've got a helper in the kitchen and I've had success every time using my Ankarsrum. Here are my reasons for telling everyone to buy it: It's sturdy. It doesn't cakewalk on the counter. It's capacity is huge - it can knead a whopping 5kilos of dough at a time. For me, I hadn't quite clocked how useful that is but it means I have been able to bake 4 loaves in very little time. The machinery is seriously impressive. It's not loud and all the bits are well made and cleverly designed. It's super easy to use. There's two large buttons/turners on the front, both cleverly designed and positioned. It's elegant. I've had several people compliment it as I leave it out on the counter.
