Firstly, absolutely GREAT service from H S Johnson. Thank you. Ordered my Canford on Thursday evening, expecting delivery Monday. It arrived Saturday morning. WOW! Secondly, the Canford is my second Elliot Brown timepiece and is equal in build quality to my Holton. What an amazing brand. I love the “white” sunburst dial, its the first such watch to make it into my collection. Its slightly bigger lug to lug (12-6) than the Holton but still sits comfortably on my 7.25” wrist. I knew when ordering it’d be a keeper and that the strap would be replaced with the gunmetal rubber strap that came with my other EB. Nothing against the oxblood leather strap, I prefer black straps. I will say the original strap is soft on the wrist and extremely supple, just not for me. This is going to be my “weekend” wear. (and then some).
