I had bought this to relieve the symptoms of achilles bursitis that I had been suffering from. While this tends to be an injury that takes a long time to recover from, and the recommended treatment is inactivity, after buying this I found I was able to do normal activities, driving, even going camping, without the searing pain that accompanied 'just walking around'. I can't remember the specific time frame it took to fully recover, but I do remember it was shorter than was predicted by the GP. I haven't used it while running, so I can't say how it feels after 4kms or so, but it is certainly fine for weights and MMA/Grappling training if you feel you need the support. I would recommend this product, as my experience with this product has been uniformly positive.
