Ascaso Steel DUO PLUS PID – White Edition I’ve been using the Ascaso Steel DUO PLUS PID in white for a few weeks now, and I have to say, this machine is a game-changer. First of all, it’s beautiful. The white finish with the walnut accents gives it such a clean, modern vibe. It actually makes me excited to walk into the kitchen in the morning. Functionally, it’s everything I wanted and more. It heats up super fast—within 5 minutes I’m pulling shots—and the PID control lets me fine-tune the temperature exactly how I like it. I love that I can program two shot volumes, which makes the morning routine so much smoother (especially before I’ve had caffeine 😅). The espresso quality? Incredible. Once I got the grind dialed in, it consistently pulls rich, balanced shots with beautiful crema. The included bottomless portafilter has been so fun to experiment with too. Steam-wise, it gets the job done. It’s not the most powerful wand out there on a 15-amp outlet, but it’s more than enough for silky microfoam. I’ve been making some seriously good lattes. Overall, I’m super happy with this machine. It’s not just an espresso machine, it’s part of my daily ritual now. Definitely worth it if you want something that looks great and performs like a dream.
