Takoon VX Pro 2 — First Test 🌊 I’ve been riding the V3 Pro and V4 Pro for the past year, and the VX Pro was the one missing from my quiver… I finally gave in and got a 5.5m² for summer. ☀️ The first big difference compared to the V4 Pro is the much more pronounced V shape. The full 83g canopy also brings a lot more rigidity in your hands, with only a slight increase in weight — something you barely notice once on the water. The V1 had a small tendency for the wingtip to drop in light wind, but that issue is now completely gone. The biggest difference while riding is the forward pull the VX Pro 2 delivers. It generates strong drive, allowing great speed even in very light wind conditions. That forward traction also adds lift and comfort during tacks. Another major improvement over the 2025 models is the wing’s neutrality in freefly. Now the wing naturally positions itself behind you without the little side-to-side wobble the previous version sometimes had. Conclusion: A perfect wing for riders looking for performance, while still wanting to enjoy a solid wave session. 🤙🔥
