I had heard of Marusei and Marudo koi farms respectively, because of there close ties with the famed Dainichi koi farm. When the time came, I decided to get a koi from Marusei and I was not dissapointed. I wanted a yellow koi that would stand out from the rest of my koi. They delivered a yamabuki ogon that has very strong metallic yellow. It really "pops" in the pond. The fish came in healthy and had no issues incorporating itself to the other fish. I've had it in the pond for over a week now and there have been no issues. It is a touch skinnier then the rest of my fish, but I would attribute that to being in a competitive growing pond and I may over feed a touch. I wanted to shout out to Derek who helped with some initial purchase questions, Kristen who helped when UPS sent me the wrong tracking number, she straightened things out quickly, and finally Sam helped me with a few post purchase questions. The play it koi team has always been quick and helpful with all my needs. I will definitely buy from them in the future.
