The GFB DV+ ATV blow off valve is an excellent upgrade for the EA888.4 engine, especially if you are running the APR intake system. With this setup, air no longer recirculates back into the intake inlet, which eliminates the thump sound produced by the factory diverter valve when it closes. The DV+ ATV operates smoothly with no power loss or check engine light. The car feels more responsive, and the sound under load is great. I have attached a sound clip recorded under both normal driving and heavy load so you can hear the difference for yourself. This installation was done on a 2022 VW Arteon with APR charge pipes. Fitment is flush, and as you can see in the picture, the valve pairs very well with the APR charge pipe. Since I was already installing the charge pipes, I added the DV at the same time. Otherwise, it would be very difficult to install without either replacing the charge pipe or removing the fan shroud.
