Completely plastic free so no nasties, love the cup, the lid fits securely and is easy to pop everything in the dishwasher at the end of the day. I bought the tea strainer insert and that fits perfectly without moving, so even when the cup is tipped up to drink it stays in place, again avoiding plastics from teabags while enjoying the fresher tea leaves. Such a great product I bought a second one!
