“I've ordered 3 44pro gloves now: a 12.5" softball glove, a 11.75" baseball glove and a 11.5" youth baseball glove. They are great quality and the kids love them.”
“I’ve owned many gloves from most major glove brands. The Japanese Kip leather of my 44 Pro glove is the absolute best leather of any glove I’ve ever experienced.”
“The custom made 14" glove arrived during the specified length of the order. It arrived as specified including the 80% break-in. This is the best glove on the marker, especially for the price. I have had several Rawlings custom made gloves both Heart of the Hide and Pro Preferred and this 44 glove is just as good as the Rawlings. Thank you 44.”
“I ordered this 44 custom glove for my son’s birthday back in April. He was pumped about it, the colors, the customization, the whole thing looked awesome. But after months of breaking it in, it still hurts his hand every time he tries to use it.
The biggest issue is the pressure right at the base of his thumb. It’s uncomfortable to the point he doesn’t want to wear it. It’s just not a good fit no matter how much we’ve worked on softening it up (and we really tried).
After digging around online, I saw a bunch of other parents saying 44 gloves don’t seem to work well for middle schoolers or younger kids. Unfortunately, that seems to be the case here too. We ended up having to buy him another glove, which he can actually use.
This was a birthday gift and we had high hopes, but it ended up being a letdown. I wish 44 would improve their youth fit and padding. The quality and design just aren’t there for younger players.
Here’s a photo showing the inside. You can kind of see where it causes the problem.”
