“I have mixed reviews on 44 gloves. I bought a 1st base mitt for my son with their kip leather and it’s great. I bought a Kip leather regular glove for myself and it developed palm bubbles. So I sold it to Play it Again Sports. I bought a catchers mitt for myself (left handed) in the low end steerhide, and it’s as nice as the All Star Pro Elite I bought for my son for $450.00. I will probably buy another catchers mitt (RHT) for my son to have as a back up. So overall I would say take a chance on 44 but don’t be surprised if you get a clunker.”
