“When I got my first base mitt, I was excited. Then when I was inspecting it I noticed all the excess leather by index finger. I wear my finger out and with all the excess leather didn’t feel right. Looked it up, and lot of negative reviews for first base mitts. My pitchers glove is beautiful. This on e not so much.”
“Everything arrived exactly as ordered and packaged well. First impression — the glove looks and feels like a quality product. The leather and overall construction seem very solid.
One thing to note: this glove is extremely stiff out of the box. It’s going to take a serious break-in period, so it’s probably not ideal for beginners who need something game-ready quickly.
That said, once it’s fully broken in, I think it has the potential to be a really good glove. I’ll be able to give a more complete review after some more use, but based on first look and feel, it definitely appears to be a quality piece.”
“The overall design turned out great and looks better in person than the image on the computer, the glove is very stiff and took me a decent amount of work to get it broken in to where we can play catch with it. The quality seems great and look forward to see how it breaks in through the start of the season. The only complain I have is the communication is is poor but I would order again”
“They have horrible customer service, they will not respond and have only email to get in touch with them, in which you will only get a generic copy/paste response that takes a week to get. Preparing for shipment for over 3 weeks with zero constructive feedback when asking status. They already ruined so may people’s Christmas’s by missing deadline but also still have not shipped so many of those gloves. These gloves are produced in the Philippines and they can post on social media every 20 minutes but can’t respond to their customers that have already purchased and they have no delivered.”
“As a lefty i have been using a first base glove my whole life sadly I am old and no longer playing daily. But was drafted out of high school and play college, i have had plenty of pro preferred.) H webs, hard of the hides the tan tpx pros and even a mizuno pro that had a catcher style wed or As i knew it the mark maguire web i find the single post A2000 have the ball pass thru the web over time once broken in and feelvthe H web is just more durable and ratherly a ball pass thru before a lace break.
Ok so now for the pro 44 i ordered a carzy color. For the price and it being custom just buy one. It was nice to pick the size of the firstbase glove and picking your web options is amazing. I honestly couldnt tell you want size i liked my the pro preferred is in the 12/12.5 size range and the mizuno pro i had had to be smaller then that i hated the glove,(loved the quailty) and i ordered my in 12.5 for playing softball. It feels as good as my pro preffred. I wish they would allow more crazy web options. I hands down would love a T web or modded first base web. I think they would be surpised how that would be a killer web options for us. If you know what style of glo e you like. I think all there gloves are the way to good. Buy one.”
“I love how easy it is to put together your kids dream glove on the website. From leather color and style down to stitching, it’s an easy and fun way to customize your glove.
Highly Recommend!”
“I absolutely love this mitt! The thing is a tank with an incredibly deep pocket!
44Pro did a great job on the custom embroidery and the leather quality is top notch.”
