In March, my wife had a miscarriage. It has been the most heartbreaking thing we have ever experienced in our 15 years together. I needed something that would give me some semblance of joy, so I pulled the trigger and ordered the First Base Mitt that I had made numerous times.
We ended up naming the baby Aster. I had a Custom Logo added to the thumb, that featured my tattoo with a small aster flower in the middle. I also had her name embroidered into the palm so that I can hold my little girl every time I hit the field, because I never actually got the chance to.

“I ordered a first base mitt for my son(age 11). He did the design and we received the glove right on time. They gave us updates on the mitt so we could follow the progress and include a custom cinch sack for storage. The mitt is still not 100% broken in but he has been using it in games and its worked great. The pocket is so deep he can get anything and it feels like it wont come out. Im jealous now and may order on for myself. I cant speak to the long term quality, since we have only had it 2 months, but I don't regret the purchase at all. I would definitely recommend 44 to anyone else.”
