“This is the second glove we have purchased from 44. We also have an infield glove for 3b. We love the deep pocket and design of the web. This glove is incredibly hard to break in though. My only complaint is that there isn’t an option to have it more broken in upon arrival. We have spent several hundred pitching machine shots into the glove, catch, and hand manipulation to get it looser. It’s still not game ready yet. The customization options and quality of the leather are very good though. We have played many games in the rain with the other 44 glove and it remains high performance with low maintenance.”

“I custom ordered two gloves. A RB5 Firstbase mitt and a Pro 44 Youth. The website is pretty simple to use and good amout of different options to customize the gloves
The RB5 firstbase glove came out exactly as expected. The glove has been perfectly put together. I would defiently recommend anyone looking for a firstbase mitt to consider a 44. The mitt has also been much easier then excepted to break in and is keep its shape very nicely
The Pro 44 Youth glove came out as ordered. The glove has a weird shape about it, as if the finger stalls are not properly stiched with other pieces almost like its twisted and even bunched up. This glove is not as easily broken in and does not retian its shape very well as a infielder mitt. My son will likely not use the glove for these reasons.
Overall I would highly recommend the firstbase glove, I would not recommend the youth Pro 44. Submitting both gloves as one review because that was my only option.”
