“After absolutely loving my 44 Pro 13-inch outfield glove, I decided to scale down to a smaller pattern for infield work. The 12-inch EX-10 has been the absolute perfect fit.
Key Highlights & Fit
The Pocket & Transition:
It offers a fantastic, deep pocket while still allowing for incredibly quick, clean transitions on the transfer.
Unmatched Comfort:
Compared to my previous glove, the EX-10 feels significantly more comfortable on the hand, especially around the thumb stall.
Finger Shift Friendly:
I typically wear my gloves "two or three in the pinky," and this model leaves plenty of room to comfortably accommodate that grip style.
The Break-In Process
I ordered this glove Pro Stiff and used the hot water bucket break-in method:
Fully submerged the glove.
Allowed it to dry completely (which took about three days).
Applied a quality glove conditioner once dry.
Since wrapping up that process, it has been an incredibly solid, reliable gamer.
The Verdict
Whether you are looking for a top-tier infield glove or a slightly more compact outfield option, this glove will serve you incredibly well. Between the unbeatable price, endless customization, and premium leather quality, 44 Pro absolutely knocked it out of the park.”
“I ordered this glove in the off season and I’ve been breaking it in slowly to get the pocket right where I want it. I went with bright colours and I’m so happy with how it turned out, can’t wait to start fielding ball’s with this mitt”
“Honestly the glove feels very cheap to me and not up to my standards of use, compared to my mizuno pro glove i have, the 44 felt worse and i’ve actually gone back to using my old glove.”
“The build quality is really good, and the glove itself comes with a premium feel to it (if that makes sense). The only thing I think could be a bit better is the padding: a hard hit ball stopped near the heel of the glove might sting more compared to other brands with similarly priced gloves.
Another thing to consider --that is not a dealbreaker for me-- is that the sizes run a bit large. My 11.5 inch custom 44 is a bit bigger than my daughter's 11.75 Rawlings Liberty Advanced.
Overall I --as well as my daughter-- are very happy with the purchase. She is secretly plotting to misplace her old glove and that would leave me not other choice than to let her 'borrow' mine.”
“I purchased Men's Softball glove from 44 Pro a few weeks ago. Because of playing Shortstop I purchase a 12inch "EX-10."
I have been pleasantly surprised with both the accuracy of my custimization and the quality of the glove. When delivered, the glove came exactly as I ordered, which was in part why I was pleasantly surprised. From a manufacturing perspective, I am impressed with the overall quality of the glove. The leather used in the glove is a good quality leather, laces are thicker (verses other some of the brands) which will aid in durability, and the sticking seems to be good so far.
There are guys I know (and play with) who have purchased gloves from some other "Name Brand" glove manufactuers who offer glove custimization who do not offer this same craftsmanship.
So far I am impressed. I will repost in about a year to give you a true opinion of the glove, but my frist impression of this glove is that I am impressed by the quality of the glove and their accuracy with my specific customization.
First Impression - 5 Stars (let's see how it holds up)”
“These gloves are bad ass plain and simple. Had 2 girls get scholarships and moved onto their next chapter in the game. I was able to design each of them a glove that matched the school colors, they loved them.”
