“I love this program. My 3 year old is now learning how to sound out CVC words on his own. In 1 week, he was able to read the first two books. The songs are catchy and make memorizing the letter sounds easy. The manual helps a lot to give parents an idea of what to do. I wish the student workbook had more for kids to get extra practice. This program can be easily paired with other reading programs to give your child extra material to feel confident about reading. Because my child doesn’t attend daycare or preschool, I truly worried that he would be behind once he entered kindergarten but all of those fears have been put away. My only fear now is that my child will be too bored in kindergarten because he’ll be so well prepared.”
“I like it because it was a structured level reading book. I incorporated a lesson plan for each book and a writing part for each book as well and my students seemed to do very well on it. I wish the quality of the book were better though soo I can used them in future years. Or I wish it had printables as well.”
“I think it's still too early to start my child on this program because he struggles to remember each alphabet...but I look forward to trying again in a few months. But from what I read in the instructions I like what I'm seeing and can't wait to try when he's ready, not when I think he's ready. I want it to come naturally and be fun and not be forced on him. So I'll write another review when we actually get to do the program fully. The only reason I gave a three is because we didn't actually get to work through it yet.”
“My daughter is enjoying her lessons so far although I’d say it is a bit beneath her current abilities since she is quite associated with the sounds that letters make, but it is good review for her and once we breeze through that and get to mor complicated blending I think the will be a very useful program for us.”
