“I like that this reading curriculum is cost-effective (compared to other "big names" in the phonics field like All About Reading) and includes multiple ways to teach each letter sound (with story, song, pictures, etc). I wish that the student workbook would scaffold the handwriting process a bit better, for instance by using dots, arrows, or shaded areas to show how to form the letters. I also wish there were a Level 2, because I glanced ahead and this curriculum doesn't seem to teach digraphs or vowel teams. I will have to find another resource once my son finishes this curriculum and has to learn how to sound out more complicated words.”
