It is probably a good program, but I have trouble getting my kid to do the daily activities and pay attention during the lesson. I wish it was a little more fun and interactive.

My son is a couple months shy of four months, and while he LOVES this program, we may have begun it too early as he has a short attention span and little interest in repeating sounds alongside me. However, we are happily modifying! We play the CD in the car and even my two year old twins walk around singing the songs. We still make time every day to work through the program, though at our own pace. My three year old isn't ready for formal writing yet and struggles with some of the activities.Though he loves to color and he's often later coming up to me and telling me various words and what letters they begin with. We spend a couple days on each letter. I'm very happy to have purchased this program and plan to use it with our other three boys!

I am teaching my kindergarten grandson! I was concerned that he would not stay interested but I'm very encouraged because he is very engaged and loves the one on one time! Working on the sounds that all the letters make is helping him tremendously and giving him the desire to do the next lesson. We are currently on Lesson 12 and I am very excited that I am able to help him learn to read!!! We have our "lesson time" at my house and he is always wanting to know when his next lesson will be!!! To be honest, I was very skeptical that this would "work"....but I can see already that it absolutely is giving him the skill set for reading that he needed!!
