I had two reasons for returning my kit. My #1 reason was the high pitched singing of the songs. I teach using multisensory techniques and the music is an important part. I wanted to sing along myself but couldn't. I'd be interested in looking at the program again later as I heard you have plans to update that component.
My preference is to have text on one page and illustrations on another page. This gives kiddos the chance to process the text before seeing the illustrators' version. It keeps them focused on decoding and reduces the chances of guessing as an acceptable strategy.
Is it possible to purchase the initial kit and afterwards purchase additional sets of books, for individual students?”
