“Learning Dynamics is excellent! I've been using it for a few weeks now with my 3yr old and 5yr old. Both girls are enjoying it and learning a lot. It's nice that unlike other systems, this one actually teaches parents how to teach the basics of reading. You start from the ground up. My girls like the routine of knowing what's coming and the rhythm of each letter. They like the silly songs, the coloring, and especially punching out the illustrated cards. The "motor mouth" method worked wonderfully well for learning how to blend sounds. The humor in the stories we've read so far keeps them engaged.
I wish there was a better way of explaining how many letters in the English language are tricky. (ie:"C" making "K" and sometimes "S" sounds, etc. Perhaps we just haven't gotten to that part, we're about halfway through.)
Either way, I would recommend this to any emerging readers.”
