“Well short answer is the books are a great tool! My daughter was way past the songs and workbook(she is 6), but struggling to read and the books just let her fly! They are set incrementally great! It would be a great program to start with younger ones for sure as the songs, flashcards and repetition are fun. But we are just using the books currently and like I said they are a GREAT tool!
