It leaves my hair feeling clean and light and without any residue.
This is the ideal bar to use if detoxing your hair i.e. when first trying your hand at the bar over liquid shampoo, or after trying another brand that just didn't work for your hair type.
I've tried other Ethique shampoo bars but this is just perfect as I have very thick long hair, that tends to need frequent washing due to oily roots, but dry ends.
It's trial and error with the consistency - try to keep it as dry as possible to avoid being left with a gloopy mess - seems to be more of an issue with Ethique bars over others that I use. I store all my bars outside of the shower.”
“I really love zero waste products but I always put off trying out this product because I didn't think it'd be good. I guess I am used to using so much liquid to wash my hair that I couldn't see how a bar would effectively distribute product through my hair. Anyway I used it today for the first time ever and I couldn't believe how easily just a few swipes on my head actually did put product through my hair. It felt good for my hair and scalp massaging it through, didn't feel stripped and overly 'squeaky' clean but just a nice soft clean. I also didn't believe I wouldn't need conditioner but I wanted to give it a go and again I am surprised at how nice my hair feels, soft and clean, with only a tiny bit of a BAR. I will see how I go with continued use and how long it last me but I think this will be my product of choice from now on!”
“My 3 solid shampoo I bought, great it works well for oily hair, but the smell is not the best I had... would maybe try another smell but the thing is that it is very efficient for my oily hair... ethique might work on other smells for oily hair solid shampoos !”
