“I've been using these soapberries for months now and they keep our clothes just as clean as any other good quality detergent. I don't like the smell of the clothes if no scent is added to the wash, so I would highly recommend adding an essential oil or scent of some kind. We are loving the 'Clean Linen' scent by the same brand. I don't find that I actually need to activate the berries as it says on the packet - I just chuck it in the wash and go (I mean, who has time to soak in hot water right before a cycle). I do regularly soak a load before washing and just chuck the soapberries and scent in from the get-go. I started using these around May/June and have barely made a dent in the pack. These will last ages!”
