“I have very dark brown hair with a few whites coming through. Wanted to blend the whites somehow but was very reluctant to use chemical dyes. So decided to try Desert Shadow, after researching online about natural dyes. I loved the process of mixing the different sachets. It was a very calming 'me' time. I didn't think it was a big procedure. I covered my hair with the dye and left it on for 5 hours, covered with a plastic bag and towel wrapped on top. I washed it out after the 5 hours, it came out easily. Then let it dry naturally and it was a vibrant caramel-red-brown. My hair was darker everywhere with a shadow of the red-brown-caramel colour. My whites were completely blended and they became a highlight of a shade of caramel-orange. They blended nicely with my hair. My hair was very shiny and the shine has still lasted till now which has been about 3 weeks. I am VERY happy with this product and will definitely use again in a few weeks. I'm also glad it is an Australian product and was suprised that Desert Shadow was stocked in Lithgow which is where I bought it from. Thanks Desert Shadow for your peace of mind and amazing product.”

“Very happy with this product !! My hair is naturally mousey brown with a slight red tinge when in the sun. This colour has enhanced my natural hair colour and in the sun you can see the lovely gold and reddish tone. I think the colour swatch is quite accurate. Also covers the few greys i have. I had someone to help me put it on my hair as i don't seem to be coordinated with my hands above my head. Yes it is a bit time consuming but its definitely worth it. Love this product !!”

“I had this on for three hours then gave up and washed it off. As it didn't seem to be colouring my gray's at all. I did notice it was darker the next day though so will give it another go and leave it on for much longer next time. My hair felt so soft after using it.”
