“Unfortunately I was really wanting the colour on the box, but the colour came out more orange than strawberry blonde (on light blonde hair). That said, after a few washes it settled into a very natural looking red/orange - I could easily pass for a natural redhead. The dye goes on like mud, and you MUST keep it covered in plastic or with a shower cap to keep it from drying out. I put some thickly on my eyebrows but didn't cover with plastic and it dried within 10 minutes and didn't colour them at all. So be aware not to let any patches around your hairline dry out. It didn't stain my skin or sink at all. I would definitely try this dye again in another colour, my only issue was with the colour shown on the box not being accurate.”
“When this product arrived I wondered if the extra prep and mixing work was going to be worth it - it was more like a recipe than a beauty product but I followed the steps and was surprised to see a dark green paste. Having faith in the instructions I started applying it to my very long hair and was amazed how nicely the thick paste covered. I always struggle to get "conventional" dyes to cover all of my hair. The thick paste was different but I liked it. I wrapped up my hair and forgot about it for 4 hours. When I rinsed (about 4 times) there was a LOT of green and I was nervous to look in the mirror however when I dried my hair it was really shiny, dark brown - no green to be seen and it was also really soft with a gentle fragrance. I'll definitely use this product again.”

“I bought This hair dye product because it was all natural and strengthens the hair..sounds great. I was initially surprised about the preparation and almost couldn't be bothered with the whole ordeal, but thankfully I persisted. Even the time on the hair was ridiculous, I bitched about it the whole time (4 hours!) I remember thinking it better be worth it, and at least it's doing no harm...well it was worth it. I love this product and it's all I use now to dye my hair. The color has depth and ages well, covers my greys, and somehow feels thicker. The whole thing is a process but I promise it's well worth it!”

“This stuff takes a bit more time than the commercial stuff (has to be kept in the hair for at least three hours), but is easy to mix, pretty easy to paste on, and my hair is the best it's been for years and years!! Excellent, very natural-looking colour (that has some nice shade variations), fabulous texture and suddenly I don't need to wash it every second day any more!!”
