Soap Cage Reviews

Not cheap but good quality and strong. Clasp is too big and may need to be tied together instead. A little bigger than it needs to be which makes it a bit awkward for storing.

Got this today after long wait (due to COVID-chaos, not F&F or Aust Post fault) and with much anticipation. My parents had one of these decades ago, and like others I have seen online (but that were sadly out of stock), the mesh was small. This meant that all those little bits of left over soap we end up with could be used in this. Sadly the holes in this one are two large, so it is fine for a new cake of soap, but not for the scraps, which is exactly what I wanted it for :0(

My grandparents, and my parents always used one of these for the washing up, and I have been looking to buy one for ages, thank to a generous person on FB I found I could get one from Flora and Fauna, and all my deliveries were very quick given the situation we are all in these days. I wash all my antique china using this, along with my antique cutlery. My new washcloths from F&F come up very well in the sink, and I have the old style velvet soap in my cage.

After a few days of having the soap cage, it’s definitely a winner! Easy to use!

I've been waiting for these to be re-stocked for ages, so I'm glad to finally call one my own. This works really well - decent sized cage and does the trick to suds up a storm and wash dishes. Plus, it looks great in the kitchen too!

Looking forward to trying this out. Bought to replace an old one of my mum's. Looks like the clasp might come loose easily. Cage size is larger than the old one we had.
