“This is one of my favourite products, will continue to buy. Cleans and scrubs everything I need it too without scratching. Lasts a long time and then straight into the compost”
“Works well but it isn't exactly like a traditional sponge so takes some getting used to. I find I can't mould its shape as well as a traditional sponge which means it's a bit different when scrubbing glasses and things. But just takes some getting used to. I use this for tougher grime on pots and pans and things and a cloth for glasses and relatively clean dishes.”
“Apart from giving rise to appalling puns- this scrub pad is terrific. It looks fragile but it really does a great job of getting rid of most stubborn stains. I stopped buying products with Teflon some years ago and have a stainless steel fry pan that gets all manner of things stuck to it. This scrub pad, with a touch of elbow grease, has managed to make it nice and shiny again. The added bonus is that I don't feel so guilty and worried about the coconut fibres accidentally going down the sink. At least it's not some form of plastic that's currently wreaking havoc in our waterways.”
“I was a little dubious about this pad when it came, it felt too light and flimsy to work... but I was wrong. It holds its shape and strength when wet and easily removes those baked on bits. I took another reviewer’s advice and bought the large one then cut it in half”
“These humble coconut fibre scrubbers perform way better than any plastic version and last much longer. They're tough enough to get all the grime off pots and pans, and stoves, etc. without scratching. And are gentle enough to use on glass. Best of all, if you treat them right, they always *feel* clean when you touch them. After months of using these, I found a "clean" old plastic/foam sponge under the sink, and it felt grimy and gross compared to the Safix scrub pad (which had enjoyed the same use for about as long). After using these, we'll never go back.”
