“I've done about 100kms on the tyres with a hardtail MTB (29" rims) and so far so good. Low rolling resistance and makes my ride to work a lot easier compared to MTB tyres. They perform as expected in the wet.
The reflective stripe is very noticeable and a nice touch if you ride in the dark.”
“I did not want to purchase these tyres. I ordered a set of marathon plus tyres, but the wrong ones came to the shop. So I’m currently stuck with the pirelli ones till the tyres that I originally ordered come in. This was two weeks ago now.”
“I was scheduled to drive to the coast to do a weekend bike ride, and found my tyre flat as a pancake. I called the workshop guys at Airport West, explained the situation and they said to bring her in. Literally 10 mins later I rocked up and they immediately went to work replacing the tube (and tyre). They also quickly removed my old crappy kick-stand and installed one that actually held the bike upright properly. Yay. Overall, super helpful, super quick, super understanding. Before long I was on my way and happily cycling along the coast with my furbabies in tow. It was a brilliant day that could have never happened without the excellent customer service from the Airport West workshop team.”
