“Great product, nicely packaged and super easy to install. Nice touch to include a few good quality HEX keys. I suggest greasing the threads before installation. The app was easy to install and use, and firmware updates were quick and straightforward. The charger in the box is good, but the AU adapter is a bit cheap. I had issues initally connecting to the app because the AU adapter would work itself loose. No issues connecting to Edge 1000 and 840. Although, annoying that offset is included in Connect despite the pedals not supporting it. So far no reading drops and data seems accurate. Quick pairing when beginning a ride. I used to ride Shimano cleats and pedals but found no difference with Look. Cleats fit on my shoes fine, although, note that not all Keo cleats work. I bought a backup Assiama set just in case. Easy enough to adjust the tension on the pedal. Highly recommend.”
“I've used power meters for about 8 years now. Love the ease of set up and how precise and accurate the data is. Thank you 99Bikes for the quick dispatch! Great service and follow-up right through from order to delivery! Well done!!”
“This was my first use of power pedals. The Favero Assioma DUO get great reviews and are now avaible at a good price. Very easy to install on my Specialized Roubaix road bike following instructions from the impressive Favero App on iPhone. The internal batteries last about 50 hours and charing via magnetic USB cables is a cinch.
The initial set-up was straightforward ie pairing with Garmin Edge 830 computer and Favero App. Because the power pedals measure cadence i was able to remove the Garmin cadence sensor on the crank. The pedals are excellent - lightweight and nicely weighted so that they present at an angle ready for quick cleat engagement. I used the provided RC7 cleats and the results were better than my old Look Keo pedals.
The amount of addtional ridding data avaiable is impressive and overall I'm finding by monitroing power levels i'm improving my fitness / performance.”
“Was disappointed and frustrated to open the box to only one pedal! Had to waste time returning to store to discover they had used one pedal as a demo!
No discount or remuneration offered for my time and travel, or fact that pedal had been displayed.”
“Bought these as part of my physio rehab for IT band pain. Some rides I set off 45-55% Left-Right so I'm now able to correct that. Most rides I'm 49-50 or 50-50 now so hopefully that keeps future injuries away. Very easy to self install hex key included and chargers etc. Has a travel mode for flights. Very fast bearings so sometimes hard to catch and clip in but I'm starting to get the hang of it (contrast to shimano that don't spin once I push off at the lights). Connecting to garmin was a headache as you only connect the left pedal but I couldn't match the ant plus id's and ended up confused when only one side reported power. 10x better than a Crank power meter as I can move them onto my triathlon bike for race day or key training rides easy as!”
“Early days, but the pedals were easy to install and synchronise with my Garmin 1030. First ride I had both average power (over 10 seconds) and balance between left and right working perfectly.”
