“To date we have only used it a few times so it's still early days. However, I am concerned that the ramp (which is the reason I bought this model) is relatively short, and this makes the entrance angle quite steep on my 2008 Prado. Pushing the ebike up the ramp is slightly more difficult than I thought it would be. Granted, this is not helped by the fact I'm presently nursing an injured shoulder but I do think it could still be an issue when things are back to normal. Also, I have found securing the ebike to the centre post a little difficult as the centre post has to be swung down until the bike is on the ramp, and then there is little clearance for the centre post to be swung upright.”
“The Yakima OnRamp 2" @ E-Bike Hitch Rack is easy to install onto the car, the ramp is very handy, supports the two eBikes without any problems. Also found it easy to move around the shed and store when not in use. However, it is difficult to secure both bikes to the lift-up vertical bar without the use of an seat post to stem "top tube" bar, because they are both easy access bikes and the same size. A very good bike rack, but two of those vertical camp bars would make it perfect.”
“Sturdy and quality products, I would have liked the tails holding the bikes to be about 10c longer, but it still works perfectly well.
Great service from 99 Bikes!”
“Just a great ramp. Haven't tried it with electric bikes (that comes later - maybe), but handles normal bikes no problem. Just a great solution to carrying two bikes. Used it in conjuction with a Yakima BackSwing Hitch Accessory. Fits well, just works.”
