“I bought two of these bike computers for our Brompton’s bikes.
Both of them recorded the speed reasonably accurately but as for the distance travelled they were both so inaccurate that I returned them.
The person at 99 Bikes who served me when I returned them did not seem surprised with the inaccuracy of the device and returned my money.”
“The Azur Z12 bike computer was so much smaller than expected, which meant my grandson had to look down all the time to see the readings. Continually looking 'down' meant he's not looking ahead to see where he is going. This was not safe cycling for children so we threw the item in the bin. Wouldn't recommend this very small computer.”
“The computer does not come with proper holders, you need to cable tie it on and then it's not very secure. The receiver on the fork is very large and needs to be angled with bad positioning towards the magnet on the spoke, sticks or other things are almost certain to hit it out of place and maybe even damage it. The computer is slow to respond to speed changes and seems inaccurate, but hard to tell due to it being so slow.
Very disappointed and wish more information was offered when I asked about the different computers and differences.”
