“I like the size of the bags and the pockets provided, but there were three things I didn't notice before purchase that info not like. 1. The flap for the outside pocket is sewn under the zipper, rather than above it, so it collects water on the zipper rather than protecting it. 2. There are rain covers in the top pouch which are sewen inside out. They are a great idea, but when onfolded over the pannier bag they are inside out - with the seams on the outside and the reflective tape (also a good idea) on the inside! 3. The small elastic cord used to secure the bottom of the bag to the bike is too light and does little to hold them securely when not on a smooth trail or path. An alternative method would be good - even if as an accessory. Eg that clamped onto the rails of the bike rack and then the strap of the pannier could slide over that. (Which would also make putting them on and taking them off a lot easier - with the two top spring-clips, which have been good so far).
I don't mind the appearance at all (have seen them on other bikes around town and they look good. Also are a good shape, holding a lot of gear & not getting in the way when pedalling etc.”
“Happy with these panniers. They'll fit most bike racks. The claw-like swing catches are a good innovation, they stop the panniers bouncing up off the rack. Recessed weather covers are included.”
