“These panniers are truly waterproof, even in the worst storms and on flooded bike paths. The mesh pocket in the lid is excellent for keeping gloves, sunglasses, bike repair kit and other small items without having to dig down into the deep panniers. The pannier clips are are adjustable with an Allen key to fit almost any pannier rack. A clever strap allows one to single-handedly undo both clips simultaneously when removing the pannier from the bike. Mishandling the panniers can damage them so I've learnt two things. Firstly, place them gently on the ground and don't drop them, especially when heavily loaded. The rigid plastic wall can be broken if dropped and then rain can enter the base of the pannier. I've learnt to lay them down on their soft (silver) side to avoid any chance of damaging the other side which is rigid, black plastic. Secondly, only tighten the straps as much as required. Don't pull them super-tight every time you use them or this may eventually cause a seam to pull apart and create a hole. If you follow these tips, you will get many years of fully waterproof use out of them.”
“These panniers are capacious and robust. The top clips attach easily onto the pannier rails while the bottom screw-on clips are a bit more fussy. The inside webbed pocket is useful for holding smaller items but extra pockets would have helped as well. I haven't tested Azur's claims of waterproof yet, but the way the top folds securely over the side of the bag should prevent water from entering between the layers.”
“Solid bags with good amount of space, handy top compartment and easy attachment to pannier rack. Having the shoulder straps and different sized spacers is also handy. Only issue for me was the single top compartment makes it difficult to organise contents, but found my own organiser insert to solve this.”
