“Nice large font. Fairly easy to navigate and set up.
Lacks the strong reassuring click into the base that Garmin has.
Extremely fragile. A drop from knee height resulted in complete explosive destruction.”
“The bike computer is good. I found getting around the menus a bit trickier than it needs to be but once set up it found the bike sensors easily and the battery life is super long. So the bike computer gets 4 starts. But the Bryton Active app that syncs the computer data with Strava is really bad. Trashes the phone battery for no useful work. Fails to sync any data from the computer. The app "training" from Bryton is for something that does not look at all like this app. In my view the app is integral to the overall experience with the bike computer so the app lets the whole package down.
Pros:
Great battery life
Easy to read display
Robust package
Cons:
Pop up messages in microscopic writing impossible to read on your bike
Bryton Active Android app kills phone battery for no useful work
If the data does not transfer to the app then "simply" connect the bike computer to a laptop, logon to browser based Bryton and manually upload files as they appear on Windows file manager. Really disappointing Bryton.”
“works well after you spend a fair bit of time on the internet working out how to use it could have same instructions with computer that are easy to under stand that would be very helpful”
“Cannot beat this in terms of value for money. Has all the functions required for a dedicated road rider. Battery life is fantastic. Syncs seamlessly with a great range of cycling apps.”
“Does everything you would want from a Garmin, just half the price!
Customizing relatively straight forward, though the buttons underneath can be a bit fiddly to get to grips with.
Battery life is the best of any GPS I have used!”
