“I've purchased several Blast Off Waterproof Bike covers over the years for my three bikes that are stored outdoors. They're a great size, fit well, and the material feels thick and durable when new. Most importantly, they do an excellent job of keeping the bikes dry.
Unfortunately, there is one major drawback. In the harsh Australian sun, I've found that the covers only last around 12 months before the material starts to deteriorate, tear, and eventually fall apart. This has happened with all the covers I've owned.
It's a shame because otherwise they're an excellent product. I have a black cover on my outdoor umbrella that has survived multiple years in the same conditions. If Blast Off used a more UV-resistant material, these bike covers would be outstanding.”
