“This is an example of how to complicate something that is fundamentally simple. I was persuaded to give it a go, despite being somewhat dubious, on the promise of it keeping its contents cooler. I haven’t been able to test that yet because it’s been cold weather. Nevertheless, I am now experiencing post purchase dissonance. I can’t remember any time over several decades active cycling in Australia and numerous other locations when I thought to myself, I’d really like the contents of my bidon to be cold. Perhaps I don’t know what I am missing, but I doubt it. Furthermore, perhaps on a real stinker of a day it might be nice, but then I’d be wondering how long it would keep the contents cool in such conditions anyway.
Having said all that, if you do like your drink chilled and you think this would do the trick, I suggest you go for it. It appears to be thought out and manufactured. It probably works.”
