“I absolutely love my new Dahon Mariner D8 (2026) 20" folding bike. I selected this model after researching various makes and reading numerous reviews, and am so happy with it.
The folding / unfolding mechanism is easy to use and when folded the bike is quite compact and easy to lift in and out of my car. After riding a 26" road bike for many years I wondered if I would need to pedal harder but the gears are so smooth it actually seems easier and very comfortable to ride. The 2026 model has some upgrade features which adds strength and stability, and the aluminium frame makes it lighter and less affected by rain and coastal conditions. The bike looks great and I am looking forward to riding it for many years. The price was reasonable for a quality folding bike, and the staff at 99 Bikes in Noarlunga SA were very friendly and helpful.”
