Shimano make quite a range of different lengths. Once installed it stuck out too far and the chain line was incorrect. Ended up installing Shimano 118mm which worked.The original had the loose cup on the other end which appears to have made it difficult. The bike was an 1990's Garry Fisher. Never mind, got there in the end.”
