“Good quality as expected from Shimano, easy to install on the handlebars. The connection is easy in terms of removing the hose from the old lever and shoving it straight into the new lever and tightening the connection. Bleeding the new lever can be tricky, I used the Shimano bleed funnel at the lever combined with pushing new fluid into the hose from down at the caliper, then tapped the hose a bit and actuated the lever a bit until I felt like I had got most of the bubbles out of the line. It still feels a tiny bit softer than my right hand lever which I didn't have to replace, but it brakes firmly and can lock up the wheel so it works well.”
