Solid (no holes) will increase breaking surface area and there fore breaking and pads last longer”
“I had a full bike makeover, new tyres, rims, grips, chain, cassete, brake rotors and more. I love my carbon fibre frame and couldn't part with it. The guys at 99 bikes did a great job. I'd forgotten what good brakes should be. I thought it was the brake pads that had worn but they were fine. (I replaced them about a year ago) Turns out the rotors wear and become thinner and less effective over time. The new rotors are brilliant and a lot safer than what I was riding with.”
